Ternay is about 35 kilometers north-northeast of Tours . Ternay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Artins in the north and west, Saint-Jacques-des-Guérets in the north and north-east, Saint-Martin-des-Bois in the east, Les Hayes in the south and Montrouveau in the south-west.
