Ziegelhütte (Feuchtwangen)

Ziegelhütte was a district of the town of Feuchtwangen in the Feuchtwangen district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland was 0.3 km southwest of Feuchtwangen at an altitude of 447  m above sea level. NHN on a road that led from Feuchtwangen to Dinkelsbühl . In the north there were the herb gardens by the tanner barn , in the southwest there was a clay pit and in the south there was the sanding field , which was used as arable land. In the east was the Brühl , which was used as pastureland.

history

Ziegelhütte was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . The Brickyard each had half the Stadtvogtei Office Feuchtwangen and the pin stewardship Feuchtwangen as a landlord . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century), Ziegelhütte was assigned to the tax district and the municipal community of Feuchtwangen. When the house numbers were assigned, it was given the number 202b. About 3 hectares of land belonged to the property  , on which mainly clay was extracted. Ziegelhütte was pastured to Feuchtwangen and belonged to the Feuchtwangen school district. According to the census of 1885, the brickworks were considered uninhabited. It has not been run as a district since then. A villa was built in its place in 1910, which, like the outbuildings of the brickworks that still exist today, is a listed building (→  Monument D-5-71-145-23 ). The villa is house no. 9 on Dinkelsbühler Strasse.
