Ambrose EB Stephens

Ambrose Everett Burnside Stephens (* 3. June 1862 in Crosby Township , Ohio ; † 12. February 1927 in North Bend , Ohio) was an American politician of the Republican Party . March 4, 1919 until his death he was a member of the House of Representatives of the United States for the second  congressional district of the state of Ohio.

biography

Stephens was born in Crosby Township. There he attended public schools. After studying law , he was admitted to the bar in 1902. Between 1911 and 1917 he was employed by Hamilton County .

In 1918, Stephens was elected to the US House of Representatives as representative of Ohio's 2nd District. He remained a member of the House until his death in North Bend in 1927 . He was buried at the Maple Grove Cemetry in Cleves .
