According to the author Ulrich Kubisch, Aesculapian was a German automobile brand.

Company history

The I. Schwarz machine factory , auto construction department, was located at Linienstraße 154a in Berlin . Around 500 automobiles were produced in the years around 1900 .

Under the similar brand names Esculape (from Paris ) and Aesculap (from Vienna ), similar vehicles with similar brand names were created around the same time. A connection between these three brands is not known.

Small voiturettes were made. The vehicles were equipped with an air-cooled single-cylinder built -in engine from De Dion-Bouton in the rear, which developed 3 hp . There was the body shape vis-à-vis .
