final
The final was originally planned with a return leg. Before the first leg, both clubs agreed at short notice to only hold one final. Since the Austrian intended to play their "home game" in the Gerhard Hanappi Stadium , which led to massive protests from their own supporters, the clubs agreed to hold this final in the Gerhard Hanappi Stadium.
