Tibor Nyilasi [ ˈtibor 'ɲilɒʃi ] (born January 18, 1955 in Várpalota ) is a former Hungarian football player .

Career

Nyilasi played at FTC Budapest from 1972 to 1983 and then moved to FK Austria Vienna for a transfer fee of the equivalent of € 500,000 . Between 1983 and 1988 he scored 113 goals in 144 competitive games for Austria. In the Hungarian national team he scored 32 goals in 70 games and took part in the Football World Cup in 1978 and 1982 .
