The Austrian Football Championship 1924/25 was organized by the Vienna Football Association and contested by its members. The single-track II. League served as a substructure for the I. League . These leagues were only accessible to professional football clubs . In addition, other federal state associations organized state championships in different modes on an amateur basis.
The championship in the I. League was contested with 11 teams, which met two against each other during the entire season. The Viennese Hakoah, who won their first championship title, became Austrian soccer champions. The title-defending Viennese amateur SV had to be content with second place in the table. Since the I. League was again increased to 13 teams in the next year, all teams could remain in the I. League.

EK1The WAC should therefore be punished for having a player of the club who played three games in the Italian championship. The club was not penalized, the player was banned.
EK2 Slovan did not have its own sports field and played his home games on various fields.
EK3 At a general assembly it was decided to increase the league to 13 clubs, so SC Rudolfshügel remained in the first class.
In the II. League a total of 12 teams, each of which met twice during the entire season, played for promotion to the I. League. The champions Floridsdorfer AC and the runner-up ASV Hertha Wien were allowed to move up to the first division. Since the second league was increased to 14 clubs in the following season and there were no relegated clubs from the first league, all clubs could remain in this performance level. SV Donau Wien , SC Neubau , SC Movement XX and Gersthofer SV rose to the second league . After the season, FC Ostmark Wien and third-class SC Donaustadt merged to form Brigittenauer AC .

1st class Carinthia
In the 1st class Carinthia four teams met each other, which determined the champions in six rounds a round trip. Although the Klagenfurt amateur SK led the final table with eight points, the championship title was awarded to the Klagenfurt SV
In the Styrian regional league , the clubs were divided into two groups in the preliminary round, the 1st class Middle Styria and the 1st class Upper Styria. The group winners played for the Styrian championship, which SK Sturm Graz won.
S1K1Südbahn Graz, Grazer AAC and Rapid Graz transfer to VAFÖ during the season and are eliminated from the championship.
The official Styrian championship title is played out in a playoff between Sturm and the master of Upper Styria, the Kapfenberger SC. Sturm Graz won this game 4-1.
