Maurizio Ganz (born October 13, 1968 in Tolmezzo ) is a former Italian football player .

Career

His career began in 1985 with Sampdoria Genoa . In 1988 he moved to AC Monza Brianza . A season later he went to AC Parma . For the 1990/91 season he moved to Brescia Calcio . For the 1992/93 season he moved to Atalanta Bergamo . In 1995 he moved to Inter Milan , with whom he failed in the 1997 UEFA Cup final at FC Schalke 04 , but was top scorer in this competition in the same year .

During the winter break of the 1997/98 season, he moved to city rivals AC Milan . In 1999 he became Italian champion with Milan. In the 1999/2000 season he moved to SSC Venice , which he left after only six months for Atalanta Bergamo . In the 2001/02 season he played for Fiorentina , then two seasons at AC Ancona . In 2004/05 he was signed to FC Modena and in 2005/06 he played for AC Lugano in Switzerland. From 2006 to 2007 he was under contract with fourth division US Pro Vercelli , where he let his active career end.

In 1993 he was called up twice by Arrigo Sacchi in the Italian national team, but not used.
