The Cup of the Austrian Football Association was played for the 67th time in the 2000/01 season.

In front of 15,400 spectators in Vienna's Ernst Happel Stadium, the cup winners were FC Carinthia for the first time with a 2-1 win after extra time over FC Tirol Innsbruck . The top scorer was Roland Kollmann (FC Kärnten) with seven goals.
