Bitarová is a municipality in northern Slovakia with 768 inhabitants (December 31, 2019) in Okres Žilina , a district of Žilinský kraj .

geography

The area of ​​the village Bitarová is located in the western part of the Sillein Basin by the Bitarovský brook and has brown forest floors. Small forest areas are located in the southwest and northeast of the village. The place is located at an altitude of 380  m nm , with heights of up to 670 m and is located six kilometers west of the city of Žilina .
