The Cadre 47/1 European Championship (until 1948 Cadre 45/1) has been held in the carom variant Cadre 47/1 since 1932 . It was first organized by the Union Internationale des Fédérations des Amateurs de Billard (UIFAB) and then, from 1958, by the European carom billiards association CEB ( Confédération Européenne de Billard ).
As a rule, it took place once a year, but in recent years, like the Cadre 47/1 World Championship, it has only rarely been played because there are seldom organizers.
Record winners are the Belgian Ludo Dielis and Dieter Müller from Germany, the current title holder is Frédéric Caudron from Belgium.
mode
Until 1982 the game was played at a distance of 300 points. From 1983 to 2004 (except for Baden 1986 and Hoeselt 2004 there was up to 250 points (Hoeselt qualification 200 points)) the championship in the set system (60 or 100 points) was carried out on two sets of wins.
