Crossac is a French commune with 2,952 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Nazaire and the canton of Pontchâteau . The inhabitants are called Crossacais .

geography

Crossac is located in the Brière Regional Nature Park, about 15 kilometers northeast of Saint-Nazaire . Crossac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sainte-Reine-de-Bretagne in the north, Pontchâteau in the east, Besné in the southeast, Donges in the south and southeast, Saint-Malo-de-Guersac in the south and Saint-Joachim in the west and southwest.

To the west is the moorland of La Brière .
