Saint-André-des-Eaux ( Breton Sant-Andrev-to-Doureier ) is a French municipality with 6473 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . Saint-André-des-Eaux belongs to the arrondissement Saint-Nazaire and the canton La Baule-Escoublac (until 2015: canton Guérande ). The inhabitants are called Andréanais (es) .

Saint-André-des-Eaux is located in the Brière Regional Nature Park ( French Parc naturel régional de Brière ) near the Atlantic coast . Saint-André-des-Eaux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Lyphard in the north, Saint-Joachim in the east and northeast, Saint-Nazaire in the southeast, La Baule-Escoublac in the south and southwest, and Guérande in the west.
