Saint Martin Church

Corsept ( Breton : Korzed ) is a French municipality with 2667 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Nazaire and the canton of Saint-Brevin-les-Pins . The inhabitants are called Corseptins .

geography

Corsept is located around 50 kilometers west of Nantes on the Loire estuary in the Pays de Retz . Corsept is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Paimbœuf in the northeast, Saint-Père-en-Retz in the south and southeast, and Saint-Brevin-les-Pins in the west. On the (north) opposite side of the estuary are the municipalities of Montoir-de-Bretagne in the north-west and Donges in the north and north-east.
