Le Croisic ( Breton Ar Groazig ) is a French municipality with 4093 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nantes . Le Croisic belongs to the canton of La Baule-Escoublac , was the main town ( chef-lieu ) of the canton of Le Croisic until 2015 and belongs to the Presqu'île de Guérande Atlantique municipal association .
geography
The port of Le Croisic is located on the Atlantic Ocean , on the Côte Armor ("Land by the Sea") on the Kervenel Peninsula. Le Croisic is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Guérande in the east and northeast and Batz-sur-Mer in the southeast. Incidentally, it is surrounded by the Atlantic.
The Route nationale 771 brings you here. The terminus on the Saint-Nazaire – Le Croisic railway line is the terminus of the TGV Atlantique from Paris Gare Montparnasse via Nantes and Saint-Nazaire.
