Le Pouliguen harbor promenade

Le Pouliguen ( Breton : Ar Poulgwenn ) is a French municipality with 4275 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . It is part of the arrondissement of Nantes and the canton of La Baule-Escoublac (until 2015: canton Le Croisic ) and belongs to the Presqu'île de Guérande Atlantique community .

geography

Le Pouliguen is located on the Atlantic Ocean , on the Côte d'Amour ("Love Coast"). Neighboring municipalities are: Guérande in the north, La Baule-Escoublac in the northeast and Batz-sur-Mer in the west. The place has a train station on the Saint-Nazaire – Le Croisic railway line .
