The 54th German Indoor Athletics Championships took place from February 17th to 18th in the Leipzig Arena in Leipzig. Leipzig was the host for the second time.
The competitions were attended by around 7,000 spectators on both days. Christian Blum won the 60 meters in 6.59 s.
Outsourced competitions
The all - round competitions were held on January 27th and 28th in the athletics hall in Frankfurt-Kalbach at the German indoor all- around championships . The 3 x 1000 meter relay competed on February 11 as part of the German Youth Indoor Championships in Sindelfingen.
