The Divizia B 1947/48 was the ninth season of the second highest Romanian football league . With Metalochimic Bucharest and Politehnica Timișoara , two of the four season winners rose to Divizia A.

mode

The Divizia B was held in four seasons with 16 teams each. The winners of the four groups should be promoted to Divizia A. After all, only two season winners played first-class in the following season. The format was changed again in the next season. Therefore, all teams from eighth place onwards and the two worst seventh-placed teams (38 clubs in total) were relegated to Divizia C. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no point for a loss. In the event of a tie at the end of the season, the direct comparison first decided .
