The Dodge Victory (also: Dodge Series 130/131 ), later Dodge Series M and Dodge Series DA , was a mid-size passenger car from the Dodge Brothers company in Detroit , which was presented in January 1928. After being taken over by Chrysler in 1928, it was built for two more years.

The car had a side-controlled six-cylinder in-line engine with 3408 cm³ displacement, the 58 bhp (42.6 kW) at 3000 / min. submitted. The Victory was the brand's mid-range model alongside the larger Senior, launched 7 months earlier, and the smaller Standard , due to come in March. As with the sister models, its power was transmitted to the rear wheels via a single-disc dry clutch and a three-speed gearbox. A 4-door touring car, a 4-door sedan (in normal and deluxe equipment), a 2-door coupé with 2 or 4 seats and a 2-door Brougham were offered on the chassis with a 2845 mm wheelbase. Hydraulic brakes on all four wheels were standard equipment.

The cars were renamed in mid-1928 without any major changes. However, some new bodies were added, such as a 2-door sedan, a 2-door roadster, a 4-door landaulet and sports versions of the sedan and coupé. The touring car fell away.

In early 1929, the M series was renamed the DA series, with the majority of the models being adopted. The engine output increased to 63 bhp (46.3 kW). There were again new bodies, such as a 4-door Phaeton.
In March 1930 the DA series was replaced by the DD series , which had been in production since January 1930 .
