Euro Hockey Challenge 2015
The Euro Hockey Challenge 2015 was the fifth edition of the competition of the same name organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF . The competition began on April 1, 2015 and ended on April 26, 2015. The Euro Hockey Challenge games served as preparation for the 2015 World Cup in the Czech Republic for the national teams .
Attendees
The twelve best European teams in the IIHF world rankings were eligible to participate .
For the 2015 edition these were: Sweden , Finland , Russia , the Czech Republic , Switzerland , Slovakia , Latvia , Norway , Belarus , France , Germany , Denmark
mode
The game was played in a three-point system, that is, each team received three points for a win, two points for an overtime win and one point for a defeat after extra time.
Each team played eight games during the tournament. As a rule, two games were played between two teams within two or three days in one country. All games were recorded in a table.
