Finsterhennen (French: Grasse Poule ) is a municipality in the Seeland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland .
In addition to the community of residents, there is neither a civil nor a separate parish under this name. Finsterhennen Siselen is church affiliated.
geography
Finsterhennen is located in the Grosse Moos , a particularly fertile area with almost black soils in the Bernese Seeland . The neighboring communities starting from the north in a clockwise direction are Lüscherz , Siselen , Kallnach , Treiten and Brüttelen .

The high medieval desert Uf der Höchi was archaeologically examined from 2002 to 2005.
