Kappelen has a small airfield with a grass runway. The autostrasse / motorway T 6 Biel - Bern runs along the municipal border in the east. Kappelen is closer to the Lyss Süd connection, Werdthof is closer to the Lyss Nord connection. This connection is partly on the municipal area. Kappelen is connected to public transport by the Biel - Aarberg bus line.
