Herbert Sand
Herbert Sand (* 1951 in Dresden ) is a German actor .
Life
Herbert Sand, born in Dresden in 1951, began studying acting at the “Hans Otto” theater school in Leipzig , which he had to leave after the first year of study. He was banned from all educational establishments in the GDR for three years, but after a year at the Anklam Theater he got an acting permit, which he used at the theater in Wittenberg for the next two years.
His relegation was lifted in 1976 and he began a new course of study at the State Drama School in Berlin , which he successfully completed in 1979. Then Herbert Sand was engaged at the Volksbühne on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz , gave guest performances at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin and at the theaters in Erfurt and Potsdam . He also received roles as an actor in film and television roles and works as a radio play and voice actor.
