Livry is about 22 kilometers south-southwest of Nevers am Allier . Livry is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Langeron in the north, Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier in the east and northeast, Chantenay-Saint-Imbert in the southeast, Saint-Léopardin-d'Augy in the south, Le Veurdre in the west and southwest, and Château-sur -Allier in the west and Mornay-sur-Allier in the northwest.
