Mišovice , 1924–1960 Míšovice (German Mischowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers southwest of Mirovice and belongs to the Okres Písek .

geography

Mišovice is located in the Central Bohemian hill country and is traversed by the Mišovický brook. The Chlumek (526 m) and the V Ruzyni (505 m) rise to the north, the Hradec (477 m) and the Hora (511 m) to the east, the Jezvinec (545 m) and the Hora (522 m) to the south-east the Křemenec (559 m), in the southwest of the Háj (542 m) and to the west of the Kamenná (542 m).

Neighboring towns are Sochovice in the north, Plíškovice, Mirovice , Zámostí, Kuchařův Mlýn and Horosedly in the north-east, U Vršeckého, Nad Řištinami, Kakovice in the east, Slavkovice, Minice and Pohoří in the southeast, U Nováka, Na Kozmovci, Na Chrástinami South, Ostrov, Uzenice and Černívsko in the southwest, Uzeničky and Svučice in the west and Draheničky, Drahenice and Ráztely in the northwest.

history

Archaeological finds show that the area was settled by the Boier at the beginning of the 1st century. In the course of the Great Migration , Slavs came to the area in the 6th century . Remains of graphite vessels from the 13th century give evidence that the village of Mišovice already existed at this time.

The first written mention of the village Mišovice, which belonged to the royal rule of Klingenberg , took place in 1323, when Johann von Luxemburg pledged Klingenberg to Peter I. von Rosenberg . In 1514 Christoph von Schwanberg acquired the dominions of Klingenberg and Worlik . When the rule Klingenberg was divided, Mišovice fell to Worlik in 1534 Bohuslav von Schwanberg. In 1575 Mišovice came back to power Klingenberg, while for the first time the family was Mišovský of Bodlák associated Freigut mentioned Mišovice. The owner of the Worlik estate, Johann Georg von Schwanberg, bought the estate for his wife Elisabeth Colonna von Fels in 1600. During this time, the village came back to the Worliker goods. In 1617 Johann Georg von Schwanberg divided up the estate and sold it including the privileged Kretschams . After the Battle of the White Mountain , the estate of Peter von Schwanberg was confiscated and in 1621 the Eggenberg owners of the estate.

After the male line of Eggenberg died out in 1717, the Schwarzenberg family inherited their property. In 1840 Mischowitz consisted of 33 houses with 236 inhabitants. The parish was Pohoř ( Pohoří ). Until the middle of the 19th century the village remained subject to the Fideikommissherrschaft Worlik, including the allodial estates Zalužan, Zbenitz and Bukowan.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Mišovice / Mischowitz 1850 a district of the municipality Horosedly in the district administration Písek and the judicial district Mirovice . From 1877 Mišovice belonged to the Kakovice municipality. Between 1924 and 1960 Míšovice was used as a place name. In 1964 the municipalities of Kakovice and Pohoří were merged to form the municipality of Mišovice with the districts of Kakovice, Minice, Pohoří and Slavkovice. On November 26, 1971 the incorporation of Svučice (with Draheničky and Stranohoří) took place. On January 1, 1985, Mišovice and its districts were incorporated into Mirovice. On November 24, 1990, Draheničky, Mišovice, Pohoří, Slavkovice and Svučice broke away from Mirovice and formed the municipality of Mišovice.

The municipality consists of the districts Mišovice Draheničky ( small Drahenitz ) Mišovice ( Mischowitz ) Pohoří ( Pohorsch ) Slavkovice ( Slawkowitz ) and Svučice ( Swudschitz ) and the settlement Slavkovická Hora ( Kolnahora ) and the monolayer Stranohoří ( Stranohor ).
