Albert Meyong Zé (born October 19, 1980 in Yaoundé ) is a Cameroonian football player and is currently under contract with the Angolan first division club Kabuscorp FC do Palanca in the Angolan professional league, the Girabola .

Career

Meyong started his career in Europe with the Italian club Ravenna Calcio . After half a season he moved to the Portuguese SuperLiga to Vitória Setúbal . With Setúbal he won the Portuguese Cup in 2005 . In the final against Benfica Lisbon he scored the decisive goal for victory.

In the summer of 2005, Meyong signed a two-year contract with Belenenses Lisbon . There he was, in the 2005/06 season, top scorer of the league. After only one year he moved to UD Levante in Spain. Due to late salary payments, he was awarded to the club Albacete Balompié after only one appearance for Levante in the 2007/08 season .

In January 2008 he moved back to Portugal to Belenenses Lisbon . In the 2-1 win over Naval 1º de Maio , where he also scored a goal, he was used illegally as he had already played for two clubs in Spain this season. The club was therefore deducted six points for violating FIFA regulations.

In August 2008, Meyong moved to Sporting Braga within Portugal . On August 23, 2008, he scored his first goal for the new club in the game against FC Paços de Ferreira . In the UEFA Cup , he scored a hat trick in a 4-0 home win against Artmedia Petržalka . In the 2010 season he was second in the Primeira Liga with Sporting Braga, which meant direct qualification for the 2010/11 UEFA Champions League .

In 2011 he returned to Vitória Setúbal for two years before moving to the Angolan professional league, Girabola , to champions Kabuscorp FC do Palanca in 2013 . In the 2013 and 2014 seasons he was top scorer there both times.
