Neuenhaus is located on the slopes of the Bergisches Land in the west of Much. Neighboring towns are Oberbruchhausen in the south, Hevinghausen in the west and Bövingen in the north.

In 1901 the hamlet had 19 inhabitants. The households of the shoemaker Bernhard Adolph, two farm workers Peter Josef Kemmerling and the peddler J. Peter Schumacher lived here.
