Carl Schuster & Sohn was an organ building company in Munich , which existed from around 1920 to 1974 and which had delivered numerous organs to all of Upper Bavaria .

history

Between the two world wars, Carl Schuster worked together with Magnus Schmid under the company name Schuster & Schmid . However, there are also instruments from this time that are operated under one of the two names. After the Second World War , the Schuster company added the name Münchner Orgelbau , which was transferred to the Wilhelm Stöberl company after its dissolution in 1974 and to the Johannes Führer company since 1994 .

Until the 1950s, the Schuster company only built pneumatic or electro-pneumatic cone chests . From 1960 both grinding, cone and pocket shops were built at the same time.
