The Paros regional district ( Greek Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Πάρου Periferiaki Enotita Parou ) is one of 13 regional districts in the Greek South Aegean region . It was formed on the occasion of the administrative reform in 2010 from two island communities of the former Cyclades prefecture and corresponds to the area of ​​the Paros province, which existed until 1997 as a subdivision of the Cyclades prefecture. In proportion to its 14,926 inhabitants, the area sends two representatives to the regional council, but has no further political significance as a regional authority. It is divided into the two communities Andiparos and Paros .
