The Milos Regional District ( Greek Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Μήλου Periferiaki Enotita Milou ) is one of 13 regional districts in the South Aegean region of Greece . It was formed on the occasion of the administrative reform in 2010 from four island communities of the former Cyclades prefecture and covers the area of ​​the province of Milos, which existed until 1997. In proportion to its 9,932 inhabitants, the area sends two members to the regional council, but has no further political significance as a local authority. It is divided into the four communities Kimolos , Milos , Serifos and Sifnos .
