Philippe Farjon

Philippe Farjon (born February 26, 1936 ) is a former French racing car driver .

Career

Philippe Farjon was involved in sports car races over three decades, especially in the Le Mans 24-hour race . How long this period was is shown by the winners and their vehicles at his and his last Le Mans outing. In his first race he in 1964 on a René Bonnet Aérodjet of René Bonnet denied won Jean Guichet and Nino Vaccarella on a plant - Ferrari 275P . When he last raced in 1990 , John Nielsen , Price Cobb and Martin Brundle won the Jaguar XJR-12 .

Farjon was able to achieve class wins in 1964 and 1989 . At the 1000 km race in Paris in 1972 he retired prematurely after a clutch damage on the Chevron B19 .
