Radošovce (German Radoschowetz , Hungarian Alsórados - until 1907 Radosóc is a municipality in) west of Slovakia with 414 inhabitants (December 31, 2019). It belongs to the Okres Trnava , part of the Trnavský kraj .

geography

The village is located in the Trnavská pahorkatina hills on the left bank of the Blava River . The center of the village is at an altitude of 167  m nm and is 17 kilometers from Trnava .

Neighboring communities are Nižná in the north, Veľké Kostoľany in the east, Jaslovské Bohunice in the south and west and Kátlovce in the northwest.

history

Radošovce was first mentioned in writing as Radichov in 1216 (other information 1208) . In 1586 the village belonged to the Dobrá Voda manor . Long-term owners came from the Erdődy family , in 1855 the Pálffys came into possession. In 1787 there were 64 houses and 381 inhabitants, whose main source of income was agriculture.

Until 1918, the place in Neutra County belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to Czechoslovakia or now Slovakia. In 1974 the neighboring town of Paderovce was incorporated, only one year later it was incorporated into the Jaslovské Bohunice municipality. In 1991 Radošovce became independent again, while Paderovce continued to be part of Jaslovské Bohunice.

According to the 2011 census, there were 429 residents in Radošovce, 406 of whom were Slovaks, five Roma and one each Polish and Czech. One resident indicated a different ethnic group and 15 residents gave no information in this regard. 378 residents committed themselves to the Roman Catholic Church and one resident each to the Jehovah's Witnesses, the Evangelical Church AB and the Orthodox Church. 14 residents had no denomination and 34 residents had no denomination.
