The Alzenau transmitter in Lower Franconia-Hahnenkamm or Hahnenkamm transmitter is a filler transmitter for radio. It is located in Alzenau in Lower Franconia on the 435 meter high Hahnenkamm . A 63 meter high prefabricated concrete tower is used as the antenna carrier. Due to its exposed location, the transmitter not only supplies Alzenau i. UFr., But also large parts of the eastern Rhine-Main area as far as Frankfurt.
