In a wooded area in the Wolfsberg district, Deutsche Telekom operates the 160-meter-high Pfaffenhofen transmitter for broadcasting VHF , DVB-T , cellular and directional radio .

It is a type tower made of reinforced concrete of type D, which was only built five times nationwide. The shaft on the ground has a diameter of 11.50 m and tapers to the end of the concrete structure in 115.50 m to 3.20 m. A GRP radome with internal antennas and a diameter of 2.10 m is placed on top . This extends to 161.95 m above ground.

Until the switch to DVB-T on November 27, 2007, analog television was broadcast on channels 31 ( ZDF , 480 kW ERP ) and 41 ( BR , 420 kW ERP).
