The station Wertheim (Schloßberg) is a filling station of the Südwestrundfunk (formerly the Süddeutscher Rundfunk ) for radio. It is located above Wertheim on the Schlossberg to the east. A free-standing reinforced concrete mast is used as the antenna carrier.

Until 1993, medium waves with 200 watts of power were also broadcast in Wertheim. The transmission frequency was 711 kHz until 1989, and 1413 kHz from 1989 to 1993. 1958 was broadcast on the frequency 1484 kHz.
