The winner, for the tenth time in a row, was Joe Davis . The highest break was achieved by Horace Lindrum with 101 points in the semifinals against Stanley Newman , the younger brother of Tom Newman . It is not documented why Stanley was only able to enter this tournament in the semifinals.
