The 1973 Park Drive World Snooker Championship was a professional snooker tournament as part of the 1972/73 snooker season . As the last tournament of the season, it was held from April 16 to 28, 1973 in the City Exhibition Halls in Manchester , England . In a five-day final, Ray Reardon defeated the Australian Eddie Charlton 38:32. The highest break was played by John Spencer .
