The SACEM 's (Société des Auteurs, Compositeurs et Éditeurs de Musique) a French company to manage the rights belong to her independent artist in the field of music. Since January 1, 2012, authors represented by it have been able to place individual songs under one of three Creative Commons licenses that allow non-commercial use. This pilot project is initially limited to 18 months. After the Swedish STIM , the Dutch BUMA / STEMRA and the Danish KODA, SACEM is the fourth European collecting society that allows its members to use Creative Commons licenses at least temporarily.
