UCI Road World Championships 2004

The 71st UCI Road World Championships 2004 took place from September 27th to October 3rd in the northern Italian city of Verona . A total of ten decisions were made in the disciplines of time trials and road races as well as in the categories women, men, men U23, juniors and juniors.

The road races took place on a 14.75 km circuit around Verona. The start and finish were in Piazza Brà in the city center, at a height of 59 meters. The demanding course led up to the Torricelle at 260 meters and back to the city center. The time trial competitions were not held in Verona itself, but in the town of Bardolino on Lake Garda .
