Absurd is a right-wing extremist German band that was founded in Sondershausen in 1992 . The band began as a rock band and turned to pagan metal from around 2001 , but sees itself as part of the black metal subculture. Absurdly claims to be one of the oldest still existing black metal groups in Germany. They call themselves "the tyrants of German Black Metal". Absurd drew media interest across Germany with a murder committed by the band members at the time and the later neo-Nazi career of member Hendrik Möbus . The band is considered one of the best-known groups of National Socialist Black Metal and has cult status in parts of the right-wing rock and black metal scenes .

history

Beginnings

According to official information, the group was founded on January 2, 1992 in Sondershausen. The name Absurd was chosen because of its versatile interpretability, but there is a connection to the Italian horror film of the same name from 1981, which was known to the band members. She played in the local youth club and recorded the demo tapes God's Death and Death from the Forest , which were sold locally. A third demo called Sadness was created, but was never officially released. The group essentially consisted of Sebastian Schauseil, who sang as well as wrote music and text, and Hendrik Möbus on drums. The two stylized themselves as Satanists in their environment. In addition, Udo H. and Andreas K. were members of the band, although the former no longer appeared after 1992. Also involved - mostly in the background - Hendrik Möbus' older brother Ronald Möbus .

The Sondershausen murder

The Sondershausen roundabout , where the three young people met with Beyer.

The band became famous through the murder of fifteen-year-old Sandro Beyer on April 29, 1993. The three then 17-year-old band members Sebastian Schauseil, Hendrik Möbus and Andreas K. lured Beyer to a meeting under a pretext and strangled him together with one of them Power cord. They then buried their victim in a hole in the ground. The perpetrators, especially Sebastian Schauseil and Hendrik Möbus, described themselves as Satanists both before the crime and in the subsequent trial.

Hendrik Möbus and Sebastian Schauseil were sentenced as the main perpetrators for jointly planned murder, deprivation of liberty and coercion by the Mühlhausen Regional Court on February 9, 1994 to an eight-year sentence , Andreas K. as an accomplice to a six-year youth sentence. In numerous media reports the act was described as "Satanic murder", although according to statements by the perpetrators and some authors it was not in a satanic context. The ruling judge, on the other hand, emphasized in his reasoning that "the constant preoccupation with satanic ideas and depictions of killing in films" had lowered the inhibition threshold so that such an act became possible, and "the act would not have been possible without this background." performing the deed “has nothing to do with a ritual or a satanic act. [...] There is no ritual background, there is no preparation, there is no decoration ... "

Band member Convictions and sentences
Sebastian Schauseil Eight years in prison under juvenile law for jointly planned murder, deprivation of liberty and coercion (Regional Court Mühlhausen on February 9, 1994). Early release in 1998.
Andreas K. Six years in prison according to juvenile criminal law for jointly planned murder, deprivation of liberty and coercion (Regional Court Mühlhausen on February 9, 1994). Early release in 1998.
Hendrik Möbus Eight years in prison under juvenile law for jointly planned murder, deprivation of liberty and coercion (Regional Court Mühlhausen on February 9, 1994). Early release from prison in 1998. After offense and flight, serving the remaining sentence.
Another sentence of one and a half years (Tiergarten District Court).
Another eight months' imprisonment (Eisenach District Court).
Four years in prison for using symbols of unconstitutional organizations as well as sedition (Landgericht Erfurt, May 15, 2003). Dismissed in spring 2007.
Ronald Möbus Two years in prison on probation (Erfurt Regional Court, May 15, 2003)

Time in prison: volume “In Ketten” and turning to right-wing extremism

While the perpetrators were in prison, the band turned to neo-pagan right-wing extremism; This was shown in the statement "Don't be stupid Satanists - Be luciferian pagans !!!" on the demo Out of the Dungeon , but in its cover insert the seal of the Baphomet of the Church of Satan can be seen directly below this comment. The band logo with Drudenfuß and Petrus Cross was retained up to and including Facta Loquuntur , only then were these symbols replaced by swastika (on Asgardsrei ) or wheel cross (from werewolf throne ) and Mjölnir . Hendrik Möbus, still seen with a mohawk in old pictures of the band, had become "first punk , then Satanist, now neo-Nazi" , according to the ARD documentary Der Satansmord - Death of a Schoolboy . His girlfriend at the time commented on his change:

“It surprised me personally. Whereby right and Satanism are perhaps not all that different. So at least in my eyes. Because they are both very inhumane and have a very elitist way of thinking, and that is also what corresponds to Hendrik. He always wanted to be something special, and he also claimed of himself that he had elitist tendencies, and that is how I explain his penchant for the right. "

- Christina, Hendrik Möbus' girlfriend at the time

The perpetrators were all punished in the Erfurt correctional facility, although the court had pleaded for separate accommodation.

In prison, the perpetrators were able to continue the band, which had achieved cult status in parts of the right-wing extremist scene. Officially she played under the name In Ketten , the band secretly rehearsed new absurd tracks, some of which were recorded and smuggled out of prison. The second cassette Thuringian Pagan Madness recorded and published at this time shows the grave of the murdered Sandro Beyer on the cover with the addition: “The cover shows the grave of Sandro B. murdered by horde ABSURD on 04/29/93 AB.” On the inside . On September 27, 2007, a CD-R black copy incorrectly attributed to Black Sun Productions of the United States was indexed by the Federal Inspectorate for Media Harmful to Young Persons . On October 30, 2007 this sound carrier was again deleted from the list of media harmful to minors. While he was still in prison, in addition to the demos Out of the Dungeon and Thuringian Pagan Madness, the debut album Facta Loquuntur and the split release Totenburg / Die Eiche with the band Heldentum, in which Hendrik Möbus' brother Ronald played, were recorded and on various labels, u. a. No Colors Records , released. At this time, the group's turn to right-wing extremism can already be seen in the texts. While the lines "Murdering Jews and Christendom / Lüstern, full of cruelty" in Pesttanz can still be rated as hostility towards religion that is widespread in Metal, the text of The Victory is our anti-Semitic extermination fantasies: "South will fall as Ostland fell / to wipe it out, That is our goal / Israel, Judah destroyed in the filth / The legions of fate have judged them all / What massacres, blood and nuclear fire / We are Nordland wolves, true monsters [...] Against subhumans , but nothing stops our course / God Yahweh, we will slash your bastard ”.

The band members were released on parole in 1998. Andreas K. has not been part of the group since then, after his dismissal he did not appear again in black metal or in right-wing extremist circles. Sebastian Schauseil and Hendrik Möbus recorded a new Absurd EP with the title Asgardsrei after their dismissal , on which the new ideological orientation was clearly shown: The songs now deal with topics from Germanic paganism, and National Socialism openly propagated. In the song Germanien über alles were u. a. the two SS divisions Wiking and Nordland glorified.

New line-up and change to Pagan Metal

In 1999 Sebastian Schauseil left the group and turned to other projects. Absurd had lost the composer and text writer and consisted only of the drummer Hendrik Möbus. After Möbius was released from prison, further prison sentences followed (see section Miscellaneous).

From then on, Hendrik Möbus only appeared as the author of individual texts for Absurd. The new head of the group since 2000/2001 was his older brother Ronald Wolf Möbus. He had previously played with the bands Vargavinter, Wolfsburg, Heldentum and Sacrifice Slaughtered Jesus and released a fanzine called Infernus . He was supported by Sven "Unhold" Zimper (Luror, Cryogenic, WTC Productions), who played the drums and the guitar. In addition, Jens “Asemit” Fröhlich and Denis “Herr Rabensang” Schoner from the Gera NSBM band Totenburg were regular studio and live members of the band. It was not clear whether there was a permanent cast, as Möbus did not make any statements and said that he made no comment and that it was "absurd [...] more than just the sum of the people involved".

Ronald Möbus emphasized again and again that he was one of the original members of the band, in an interview he stated that "the actual original line-up [...] looked like DMD played the guitar and sang," he played the drum was supposed to, "but [he] handed over this position to JFN after a few weeks to integrate him into the band, and then wanted to play bass". Hendrik Möbus, on the other hand, told Michael Moynihan that Absurd was founded on January 2, 1992 after the members (Hendrik Möbus, Schauseil and Andreas K.) had previously made music together for fun for a long time, which brought him into the band didn't have to integrate first. The current biography on the side of the band states that the founding members are Schauseil and the Möbus brothers, which means that Hendrik would not have become a member after a few weeks. Here, too, January 2, 1992 is given as the date of foundation. The fact is, however, that Ronald Möbus had distributed the demo recordings made by the band.

In 2002 the album Werwolfthron , recorded by Wolf and Unhold, was released, on which material written by Sebastian Schauseil was used. In 2003 Totenlieder followed , with which the style changed to Pagan Metal . The 2004 EP Raubritter continued this style. In 2005 another album was released with Blutgericht and in the same year another EP called Grimmige Volksmusik , which contained German folk songs with textual changes. None of these publications contained any openly political content, but individual text passages could be interpreted as expressing right-wing extremist sentiments.

In 2008 the best of The Fifteen Years War was released, which includes newly recorded pieces from the band's formation up to and including 2002. The intro is a short summary of the band's history in the form of news clips. Weltenfeind was also released , a split release with Grand Belial's Key and Sigrblot. Both releases also featured a cover version of the horror punk band Der Fluch ( Pray for us , The Ambassadors of Horror ).

In August 2008, several objects in Thuringia and Saxony were searched by the police, and a number of absurd publications were also confiscated during this action. These should suspicion of glorification of violence and hate speech by an examination BPjM undergo. Facta Loquuntur is one of the indexed albums .

On September 1, 2008, the band announced that they would cease all current activities for an indefinite period. In December 2008, the indexing of the last album The Fifteen Years War , which is now on the A list. The indexed albums also include Facta Loquuntur and the split album Weltenfeind , both of which were assigned to List B, which means that, in the opinion of the BPjM, they meet the conditions of a further ban on distribution under the StGB . The albums Blutgericht and Asgardsrei were also indexed .

On October 27, 2009 the band Grand Belial's Key announced on their official website a concert with Absurd, Heathen Hammer and Martial in Chicago, Illinois .

A remastered re-release of the demos through 1994 was announced for 2010 and was released under the title Life Beyond the Grave: 1992-1994 . The remastering was done by TT from Abigor .

In spring 2010 Absurd played with other right-wing extremist bands in the German Ore Mountains and were announced for a concert in Brescia , Italy . An appearance by Absurd announced for October 2012 in the Italian Retorbido - u. a. together with the NSBM band Ad Hominem - was banned by the local city authorities after Tullio Montagna, President of the Associazione Nazionale Partigiani d'Italia (an association of former resistance fighters of the Second World War) of the province of Pavia , criticized the event. The concert finally took place in a secret location.

After 2012 the band was not active for years. In the summer of 2014 the EP was released Bigger than Death with two unreleased tracks. In addition, a new album called Ad Astra Cruentus was announced, but it was never released.

Restart

After Ronald Möbus had tried another new beginning with Absurd, he finally gave up on this project. He and Hendrik Möbus came to the conclusion that the latter should continue the band. Hendrik Möbus continued the band with new guest musicians, two of whom, according to the band's biography, should be "veterans of German Black Metal". The band also received a new logo that now dispensed with religious or political symbolism. The first performance took place on December 16, 2017 at the Asgardsrei Festival in Kiev, where Goatmoon, Naer Mataron , Peste Noire , M8l8th and Burshtyn also played. Absurd was supported by Commando Wolf from the Greek NSBM band Der Stürmer on bass. The entire Asgardsrei EP and "a few classic songs from the band's early history" were played. The older pieces plague dance and When the old were young were newly recorded . Split releases with the Brazilian band Evil called Imperial Blood Order , the Australian band Abyssic Hate as well as Bilskirnir , Xenophobia, Vothana and other not yet named bands were announced in 2018 . In 2018 the band performed again at the Asgardsrei Festival.

However, the group's new start found little support from the fans, especially Hendrik Möbus as the new singer was accused of having neither charisma nor singing. When Absurd's first appearance in Kiev in 2017, there were calls on social networks to stay away from the concert. "If it says absurd, there is not always absurd in it," they said. In 2019, Wolf Möbus and Bile von Leichenzug founded a new project called Der Tod und die Landsknechte , at the band's first appearance on November 8, 2019 in Torgau-Staupitz in northern Saxony, absurd titles were also played, which according to the anti-fascist information sheet the subliminal criticism of Hendrik Möbus' leadership of Absurd fueled.

In November 2019, the band's official social media channels reported that Unhold and Gelal Necrosodomy ( Grand Belial's Key ) had found absurdity and that they were now working on completing a project that Unhold had been running for a long time, namely the recording some absurd titles that were still written by Sebastian Schauseil, but were only available in poor quality or were never published. A demo with the pieces Innenschau and Pure Darkness was published, and further works with titles such as Grabgesang , Kyffhäuserreich and The Eternal War were announced. It was not officially stated whether Hendrik Möbus is still part of the group and what the current line-up looks like. The band's original logo with a pentagram is currently being used again.

Ideology and orientation

The lyrics of the band contain National Socialist , anti-Semitic , neo-pagan , anti-Christian and morbid topics. As in the case of the songs Plague Dance and The Scarlet Death, the Jews are often mentioned in the same breath as killed Christians. Furthermore, some allusions found in anti-Christian texts in Judaism, as in Godless killing vermin , "never bowed to the God of the Hebrews" or Heidenwut . Clearly anti-Semitic and seditious is the text of The Victory Is Ours , where the annihilation of Israel and Judas is sung in an aggressive manner. In the supplements to The Fifteen Years' War , Blood Court and a new edition of Facta Loquntuur , words such as “Jews” or “Jewish” were censored with asterisks. On the cover of the fourth album Blutgericht you can also see a burning church in the background. On closer inspection it is noticeable that a Star of David can be found on the building, which is intended to underpin the notion of “Judaeo-Christianity” that is widespread in right-wing extremist camps . On the poster for the album, however, a lighter spot can be seen through the flames at this point, which means that the Star of David can only be seen slightly.

Ronald and Hendrik Möbus describe Absurd as one of the first German black metal bands, next to which only Ungod / Baxaxaxa, Martyrium and Dawnfall had released demos until 1993; However, in addition to groups from the first wave such as Sodom and Destruction, bands such as Eminenz , Traumatic Voyage and Desaster as well as groups from related fields such as Falkenbach and Bethlehem had already formed years earlier and published records, as well as groups such as Mayhemic Truth and Tsatthoggua (under the name Dissection) which were founded like Absurd in 1992. In addition, the designation as Black Metal does not apply to Absurd, as it is not based on the pioneers of the first wave or the bands of the second wave at that time, instead all demos and the debut album Facta Loquuntur have strong influences from horror punk , Oi! and Rock Against Communism (RAC), the webzine FinalWar characterizes the style as “Melange Black Metal / Oi / Horrorpunk” with a “basement sound”. Michael Moynihan described the band's early demos in his book Lords of Chaos as “low-fi scraps of youthful noise, saturated with distortions and with involuntarily funny, spoken introductions to the songs”, the music was “more related to the 60s garage punk than the Black Metal of their contemporaries ”. The musical role models included bands such as Der Fluch , Mercyful Fate , Manowar and Danzig . This contrasts with the self-portrayal of the band at the time, which from the beginning called itself a black metal band. Hendrik Möbus had said in an interview with the school newspaper of the Professor-Irmisch-Gymnasium: “We play the hardest, roughest and most brilliant Black Metal in all of Germany.” Christian Dornbusch and Hans-Peter Killguss wrote about the second demo Death from the Forest :

“[T] he music had nothing in common with black metal of the 1980s or with that of the Norwegian bands. Rather, it resembled a mixture of primitive hard rock with some punk elements. Due to the obvious musical amateurism, the band was rather ridiculed by most black metal fans for a long time. "

- Christian Dornbusch, Hans-Peter Killguss : Unholy Alliances

In a classified ad in Sub Line magazine , this demo was described as “unholy, hard guitar rock, wild and boisterous; for all the black souls out there ”. The website Mansion of Metal categorizes it as “ essentially crappy punk rock / RAC ” and attributes the 1995 demo, Thuringian Pagan Madness , to influences of Black Metal. Björn Springorum of Metalglory describes Absurd as “the worst band EVER time”, the Norwegian magazine Nordic Vision panned the demo Out of the Dungeon from 1994. The music on the album Facta Loquuntur , recorded in prison, was also a mixture of Oi! and black metal.

Hendrik Möbus regards the mini-album Asgardsrei as the first “holistic” work, which was also “coordinated” in terms of concept and layout. For him, the work means turning away from the musical dilettantism of the first publications. His brother Ronald, however, said in an interview that the EP suffered “from a totally screwed up final mix”. The EP also features pieces composed by Rob Darken ( Graveland ), Josef Maria Klumb and Raymond Plummer ( Von Thronstahl ) that combine industrial / ambient with marching rhythms.

Quieter songs and music from the Middle Ages can also be found on the Werwolf Throne . The later albums are less based on Oi! and horror punk, mainly because of the lyrics you assign the band to Pagan Metal . The singing style consists of guttural singing with partial clear singing .

On the 2008 Best-Of Der Fifteen Years War , the band's “in-house classics” were re-recorded “with a clean sound and playful finesse”. According to a review of the FinalWar, for example , Mourning Soul is “even a chart-breaking, modern rock number”, while In des Mondes bloody Schein from the album Facta Loquuntur is based on Pagan Metal; the “repulsive charm of the melange black metal / Oi / horror punk remained largely intact, even without a basement sound”. On The Fifteen Years War , The Curse is honored with a cover version of their song Pray for Us , on the split album with Sigrblot and Grand Belial's Key , released in the same year, another song from the early days of The Curse, The Messenger of Horror , was covered . Achromaticus by Heathen Harvest describes the music of Absurd on this phonogram as talented, brutal and well-produced and the lyrics as poor and full of internal contradictions. Just like Achromaticus from Heathen Harvest , Berkay Erkan from diabolicalconquest.com also emphasizes the intense growls , the latter mentions the assonance of the riff and rhythm section as well as the brutal sound as well as very melodic riffs and guitar leads, with Black Hand of Death with one doom-metal- inspired riff begins. chrisALPINO from TheLeftHandPath.com compares the style with that of the robber baron and blood court .

Texts

In the early days the lyrics were written exclusively by Sebastian Schauseil. Hendrik Möbus only began to write occasional lyrics for the band after his early release in 1998. Despite their official exit from the band, both Schauseil and Hendrik Möbus wrote part of the lyrics and music for the third album Totenlieder , in the accompanying booklet they are named under the greetings with their pseudonyms. Möbus also wrote lyrics for the split album with Pantheon, for Blutgericht and for The Fifteen Years War . At the Weltenfeind split in 2008, however, the three new texts were again from Möbus. Up until the Songs of the Dead , most of the texts were in English.

After his release from prison, the EP Asgardsrei was created , which propagated a symbiosis of paganism and National Socialism and glorified the SS, among other things .

The lyrics from the werewolf throne are based on pagan, anti-Christian and mythological themes and show less open neo-Nazi references or statements than on the previous albums. According to Ronald Möbus, this was a conscious decision, as the band had "had enough trouble with the police" due to their past. That is why the band now has to "express itself a little less clearly": "If you definitely need a swastika on a CD, we can no longer satisfy your needs." According to Möbus, Asgardsrei should be "Absurd's most political album, and that [ be] it still. ”The fact that the band can still be clearly assigned to the right-wing extremist wing is proven by their participation in the Blood & Honor compilation, not dead despite ban, from 2003.

In songs for the dead , the band deals with a mythologically transfigured “liberation of Germania from Christianity”. With Nordmännerlied Absurd sets the poem of the same name by the German poet Joseph Victor von Scheffel from the 19th century to music . The mini-album Robber Barons, like parts of the Blood Court album, deals with fictional anti-Christian, pagan robber barons . On the mini album a poem by Hermann Löns is set to music, the album contains a folk song. Grim folk music only contains folk songs that have been set to music and the text has been changed.

On The Fifteen Years' War , some words from the printed song lyrics were censored, as in previous works. The texts are all printed in both German and English.

In the lyrics of Absurd there is at no time a serious confrontation with Satanism , which serves as the ideological basis of Black Metal.

Optical design

As is typical for Black Metal, the Absurd logo is designed in black and white with heavily alienated letters. Up to the debut album Facta Loquuntur a drudenfoot and an inverted cross were integrated, later the symbols were replaced by swastika (on Asgardsrei ) or wheel cross (from werewolf throne ) and Mjölnir . The original logo was designed by the Belgian artist Christophe Szpajdel , who also designed logos for Emperor , Abigail Williams , Desaster , Enthroned and Xasthur , the Mjölnir and the wheel cross were later integrated by a Russian artist on behalf of the band. Szpajdel said in an interview with the daily newspaper in 2010 that he would "definitely not draw logos for bands from the right-wing scene."

In the course of the new line-up in 2018, Antichrist Kramer designed a new band logo, which, according to the band, was based on the old one, but deliberately renounced the use of ideological or religious symbols as decoration. The reason given was that the texts were "diverse and in no way limited to a specific setting". However, the old logos would still be used for merchandise purposes.

For the design of the album covers, among other things, the works Thor's dispute with the giants by the Swedish painter Mårten Eskil Winge from 1872, Knight, Death and the Devil by Albrecht Dürer and a photo of the Hermann monument. Representations of medieval scenes were often used as visual material.

meaning

Hendrik Möbus claims that Øystein Aarseth , founder and owner of the Deathlike Silence Productions label , was interested in signing Absurd after their demo Death from the Forest and that Absurd has a strong connection to the Norwegian scene to this day. This claim has so far neither been proven nor refuted, but is considered implausible. The band's fame is mainly the result of the murder, as Ronald Möbus himself admits.

The band has cult status in the NSBM scene, which is also reflected in the fact that a large number of cover versions and tribute albums exist by similar or befriended bands, such as B. Nordglanz , Totenburg or funeral procession . Because of their ethos, the band is boycotted by most established metal magazines such as Metal Hammer , Rock Hard or Legacy , and a large number of labels and distributors refuse to offer releases of Absurd. Prophecy Productions decided not to publish a song by the band on the double CD for the German version of the book Lords of Chaos by Michael Moynihan and Didrik Søderlind, because it was feared that this would endanger the project. The version of this CD released in 2008 for the US market, however, featured Absurd.

Others

The Möbus brothers also ran the record label Darker Than Black Records towards the end of the nineties , some of which were openly right-wing extremists. After six CDs had been published, a house search and subsequent confiscation by the State Security Department of the Thuringian State Criminal Police Office ended further activities in October 1999. Ronald Möbus operated the Nebelklang label, on which, in addition to the current Absurd albums, other CDs by bands, some of which come from the NSBM or neo-Nazi Pagan Metal spectrum, are released. According to Möbus, this is not a successor to Darker Than Black Records. This gave some of its planned releases to other labels such as Ancestral Research Records, which appeared around 2001/2002, and resumed its activities in 2007 - again the focus is on the production of sound carriers for Black Metal and NSBM bands (such as Ad Hominem ), which are distributed, among other things, via the new online mail order company Merchant of Death .

Sebastian Schauseil later studied law in Jena. He underwent an ideological change while in custody and was active in right-wing extremist bands until 2006. Until 2006 Sebastian Schauseil was a member of the neofolk / metal band Halgadom of the legal activist Frank Krämer ( Stahlgewitter ). He also plays with Sven “Unhold” Zimper in the black metal band Wolfsmond and in his neofolk band In Acht und Bann, which he founded with his wife. For the band Eternity , whose singer Managarm also plays with Schauseil on Wolfsmond, he spoke a passage on their album Funeral Mass . On the album Climax of Hatred by the NSBM band Ad Hominem , he helped out with the German-language lyrics with Basilisk von Eternity and Wolfsmond.

As Hendrik Möbus already briefly violated after his release from probation by a concert of the band on 26 September 1998 in Behringen, for whom he had hired as a security Nazi skins, the Hitler salute was and his victims as " public enemy , derided" his parole was revoked. He was able to escape to the USA and go into hiding with his friend, neo-Nazi and founder of the National Alliance, William Pierce , but was picked up there in August 2000 by the United States Marshals Service. In 2001, after a failed asylum application in the USA, Möbus was returned to a German prison to serve his remaining three-year sentence. For mocking his victim and showing the Hitler salute, he was again sentenced to two further prison terms of one and a half years and eight months. On May 15, 2003, Hendrik Möbus was sentenced to four years imprisonment by the Erfurt Regional Court for using symbols of unconstitutional organizations and incitement to hatred, and his brother Ronald Möbus was sentenced to two years probation. In spring 2007 he was released from custody.

  58. Statement of the band on the official website: "After more than 25 years of band history, we decided to get a new band logo (based upon the former design) that has no obvious connotations to one or the other ideology and religion. Our lyrics are manifold and in no way confined to a particular attitude, hence the new logo. It was painted by our long-time brother in arms, Antichrist Kramer. However, our former logo (s) will still be used for merchandise, reprints of our backcatalogue, etc. ", accessed on March 18, 2018, archived at https://archive.today/20180318073810/http://www.thepaganfront .com / absurd /? file = home .
