Oud-Zuid ( German  Alt-Süd ) is a former district in the municipality of Amsterdam , which was created in 1998 from the districts of Zuid and De Pijp . In this merger, the Prinses Irenebuurt merged with the Rivierenbuurt and Buitenveldert in the new Zuideramstel district . 2010 Oud-Zuid the borough Amsterdam-Zuid affiliated.

On January 1, 2017, the district had 85,875 inhabitants. Among other things, Amsterdam's most famous park, the Vondelpark , the Olympic Stadium and the Museum Quarter are located here.
