Bech is a district of the municipality Much in the North Rhine-Westphalian Rhein-Sieg district .

Geographical location

Bech is located 4.5 km south-southeast of the center of Much. It is located on the Werschbach , which flows into the village of Hohnssiefen and which flows into the Bröl at the Höfferhof . State road 312 (Much– Ruppichteroth ) leads through it . Neighboring towns are Werschberg in the east to the southeast and Reinshagen in the west.

Residents

In 1901 the homestead had 11 residents. The heads of the household were Müller Peter Michels, the landlord and mill tenant P. J. Müller and the farmer Heinrich Weber. At that time, Nieder-Bech, with 15 inhabitants, was its own district. Ackerer Joh. Peter Berzbach, Ackerer Maria Elisabeth Berzbach, Ackerer Joh. Martin Herkenrath, Ackerer Joh. Kemmerling and Ackerer Peter Josef Müller lived here.
