Caudan ( Breton : Kaodan ) is a French municipality with 6838 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Lorient in the canton of Lanester and is a member of the Lorient Agglomération community association .

geography

The city of Caudan lies at the confluence of the Scorff in the estuary of the Blavet . The highest point is at 84 meters above sea level. The neighboring communities are Calan , Inzinzac-Lochrist , Hennebont , Lanester , Lorient , Quéven , Pont-Scorff and Cléguer .
