La Trinité-sur-Mer ( Breton: An Drinded-Karnag ) is a French commune . It is located in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany between the Quiberon -Halbinsel and the Gulf of Morbihan , on the estuary of the river Crac'h . The population is 1610 (as of January 1, 2017).
The place is a famous yacht harbor in Brittany. There are several larger yachts in it, especially multihulls ( catamarans and trimarans ). The port is partly used by larger boats to prepare for long-distance journeys (especially circumnavigations of the world).
The Allée couverte Mané-Roullarde (also called Er-Groh) is located on a hill above the port of Trinité-sur-Mer.
From 1901 to 1935 La Trinité was the terminus of an overland tram to Étel .
