Chezelles is a municipality with 133 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the French department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the canton of Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine (until 2015: canton of L'Île-Bouchard ) in the arrondissement of Chinon .
geography
Chezelles is about 40 kilometers south-southwest of Tours . Chezelles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Theneuil in the north, Parçay-sur-Vienne in the east and northeast, Rilly-sur-Vienne in the east, Verneuil-le-Château in the south and southeast, Courcoué in the southwest and La Tour-Saint-Gelin in the west .
