Copa Libertadores 1991

The 1991 Copa Libertadores was the 32nd edition of the most important South American football competition for club teams. 21 teams took part. The national champions of the CONMEBOL countries and the runners-up took part. The field of participants was completed by defending champions Club Olimpia . The tournament began on February 20 and ended on June 5, 1991 with the final second leg. The Chilean representative CSD Colo-Colo won the final against Club Olimpia and for the first time the Copa Libertadores .
