Corvol-l'Orgueilleux (in local dialect: Courvou ) is a French commune of 800 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Clamecy and the Canton of Clamecy (until 2015: Canton Varzy ).
In addition to the core town, the municipality also includes the villages of Dordres , Les Caillons , Roussy and Sauzay .

Corvol-l'Orgueilleux is located about 52 kilometers north-northeast of Nevers on the Sauzay River . Neighboring municipalities of Corvol-l'Orgueilleux are Billy-sur-Oisy and Trucy-l'Orgueilleux in the north, Breugnon in the east, Saint-Pierre-du-Mont in the south-east, Courcelles in the south, La Chapelle-Saint-André in the west and south-west and Entrains-sur-Nohain in the west and northwest.
