Poisoned is a German television film by Jörg Lühdorff from 2017. It is the 68th episode of the crime series A strong team with Florian Martens and Stefanie Stappenbeck in the leading roles. It is Linett Wachow's fourth assignment alongside Otto Garber .

In the cooking show of the star chef Immo Haferkamp, there is a poison attack, in which, however, he does not die himself, but by chance an intern. Chief Detective Otto Garber, his young colleague Linett Wachow and Ben Kolberg are entrusted with the investigation. The cook is a despot in his kitchen and accordingly has many enemies. In the past few weeks alone he has hired seven people and fired them again after a short time. He expects absolute submission and loyalty from his employees. There is no sympathy for failure with him. For Otto Garber he is an “arrogant puke”. It now needs to be clarified who of the suspects comes into contact with the food before the cooking show and also has hydrogen cyanide available. The investigators are also investigating the reference to the protection racketeering Ralf Kern, who, however, did not match a poison attack. Linett Wachow sees an abysmal hatred in the insidiousness of the attack and sheds light on Haferkamp's work environment. Among the most recently discharged, the cook Anja Lange is conspicuous because she had a nervous breakdown after working with the top chef and is currently in a psychiatric clinic. While the investigator is following this lead, Haferkamp suddenly disappears without a trace. Unexpectedly, she found him with Anja Lange, who left the clinic and found shelter with her brother. He kidnapped Haferkamp so he could see what he did to Anja. Sebastian Lange is then taken into custody, but the investigators believe that he is ruled out for the poison attack.
After this incident, personal protection for the top chef is reinforced, who, on Reddemann's instructions, Otto Garber has to take over around the clock. So he gets to know Haferkamp from another side, who is far less arrogant and arrogant. Nevertheless, he cannot prevent Haferkamp from being shot. On the basis of a tip, the protection racketeer Ralf Kern can be identified and arrested. The commissioners assume, however, that the danger for Haferkamp has not yet been averted and that the perpetrator will not rest until he has achieved his goal and the cook is dead. Linett Wachow finds out that Anja Lange suspected something and therefore left the clinic to warn Haferkamp. She is very close friends with her former work colleague Sarah Ebstein, who is part of Haferkamp's kitchen team and who she regularly visited in the clinic. Sarah Ebstein is arrested and interrogated, but does not admit anything. The investigators notice that she looks at her watch conspicuously often and thus it can be assumed that she has planned another attack on Haferkamp's live broadcast, which will begin shortly. Little does she suspect that the events of the last few days have caused the top chef to rethink and that he wants to hand over the show to his former cook Anja Lange. He knows that she has suffered a lot from him and that she has great cooking talent, so he wants to encourage her with this gesture. Anja Lange is therefore invited to the show and when the suspect Sarah Ebstein finds out, she breaks her silence and reveals that this time she poisoned the sparkling wine that is to be served at the end. At the last second, Otto and Linett can prevent people from drinking from it.

Poisoned was filmed in Berlin in the summer of 2016 under the working title Death Is Not a Gourmet and was first broadcast on January 7, 2017 at 8:15 p.m. on ZDF . For the numerous cooking scenes, the former star chef Franz Raneburger was on hand as an expert. The kitchen scenes were shot in the open plan kitchen of the Max-Schmeling-Halle , while the interior scenes of the restaurant were shot in the starred restaurant Horváth on Kreuzberg's Paul-Lincke-Ufer .
Sputnik , whose role as a businessman in the series is designed as a running gag , has opened a vegetarian snack bar in this episode.

Audience ratings
The first broadcast reached 7.89 million viewers on January 7, 2017, which corresponds to a market share of 23.3 percent. This was the second best value in the series for 22 years. With a young audience of 14.6 percent and 1.55 million viewers, the episode even achieved the best value in the series.
