Cannenburgh Castle is located on the west side of Vaassen and can be visited with a guide. The castle dates from the 17th century.

The forests of the Veluwe attract many tourists to the municipality, where there are many guest houses, small hotels and campsites. Until 2015, Epe owned the Dierenpark Wissel, a small zoo where u. a. the little panda was bred.
