FIFA 19 is a soccer simulation game from EA Sports that was released in September 2018. It is the 26th edition of EA Sports' FIFA series . The game was sold over a million times in Germany in the first five weeks .
Innovations
In FIFA 19 there were many innovations in the gameplay compared to its predecessor, FIFA 18 . There were z. B. added dynamic tactics that should be easy to use even for beginners. Probably the biggest innovation is a license for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League , which was previously with competitor Konami and his game Pro Evolution Soccer . In addition to this license, the licenses for Serie A , CSL and the FIFA Women's World Cup were also acquired.
Many new stadiums have also been brought into play , many of them in Spain .
There is also a new kick-off mode in FIFA 19 . Here the player can now choose between different kick-off modes. In addition to a classic game, you can now select the house rules mode. In this, the player can then choose different modes with special rules, for example the long-range mode, in which only long-distance goals count.
There are many new features in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team , including: a. a mode called "Division Rivals", in which you can now collect FUT Champions points, with which you can qualify for the FUT Weekend League.
The story mode introduced in FIFA 17 also exists again. With "The Journey Champions" this goes into the last round.

criticism
FIFA 19 was criticized in the trade press for its gameplay, especially in the unrealistic speed difference. In addition, the career mode has not been significantly further developed since FIFA 16 , but EA Sports have focused more and more on Fifa Ultimate Team , as this is the most profitable. In this mode, however, the pay-to-win principle is also criticized.
